Trying to keep up with the thread and failing - but I do enjoy browsing it.

Just back from the Almosts club run and LD's nightmare didn't come true - everyone knew where they were going (the pub!) but I missed out on the post-run social as I had to come straight home (expecting a phone call re U3A).

I was towards the back of the group most of the time but strava tells me today's run was my fastest on that route .. it's all relative so I'm happy :)

It's a year today since our littlefetchmeet in London (dips, fleece and teebee).

Other reasons to be cheerful: George Michael tribute concert here in March. Oh my heart.

Was that a year ago ITG? It actually feels like longer! That was a lot of fun, apart from you running off like a loping loon and having to struggle to keep up with you :)
Fantastic Rebound class, loved it, then a lovely run with my friend :)

I might be up for Endure, but only if people don’t go all military and clipboardy and not let me do 2 laps in a row or run too fast or expect me to run fast or wake me up at 3am (don’t mind running other times but not 3am!)

I still have lots of camping kit even though no van anymore :(

ITG - FWIW - One of my longs runs the other week started right outside where George Micheal lived in Goring, the house is still covered in flags and stuff (you can see it on Google Maps)

Yeah, next time I'm called to give expert evidence to Parliament, I'll make sure you schedule you into my diary ;)

About This Thread

Maintained by Mandymoo
Welcome to the 700 miles in 2018 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

Join in the chat on the friendliest thread around - all things discussed and sometimes even some running is talked about.

Next year's spreadsheet can be found here - let's fill it up
