You don't need to be pretty Heinzster

Huge hugs for Ymee and others working in the NHS. It is totally f*cked and being propped up by people Jeremy Hunt wouldn't even notice.
Quick run. 2 miles. I fell over. Nothing injured
I also wrote a poem, I think I've been inspired by reading about Sombrero's creative exploits.

I don't know why, but I've always wanted to be able to do a full press up and thought this might give me the incentive to actually work towards it, Columba!

I the NHS. Won't drag politics into the 700 thread but all of you who work there.....you're magnificent.
Nice plod with my Endure24 solo buddies (super solo sausages) and another mate and her two pooches. Should crack 100 miles for the month on Friday night.

Another NHS worker here. Know what it’s like Ymee. Always something going on. And seems everyone is having to do lots more work with less and less resources.
5 miles of hills tonight. Oof.
Best of luck with the DOMS LG. I remember my first (and only!) body pump class. I could barely lift my arms to wash my hair afterwards!

Our parkrun ED's wife is an NHS speech therapist. I admire her (as I do everyone who works there) but I don't envy her, based on what she says about her particular situation.
kwala I've been eyeing that thread too! Hmmm MM that's the cutest photo I've seen for a long time. ITG look after that back - seriously, take it easy for a couple of months, focus on your back and core strength and come back properly strong, not just waiting for things to go bad again.
I think my interview was a bit rubbish. I'll be surprised if they want to see me again. Happy, too, but mainly surprised.

7 decent miles on the way home tonight. Had to detour via Sainsbury to pick up supplies and calpol for two unwell kids. Dd1 been flattened with flu for about 3 days now. Dd2 been a bit of a drama queen and a bit jealous that her sister is missing school and “having fun” at home. Complained of a sore throat this morning but was packed off to school none the less. School phoned to ask for pickup instead of after school club. Just as well as she crashed when home and then proceeded the throw up all over the lounge!
