Gosh Ymee that made me wince on your behalf!

Four and a bit miles done - had to drop the car off to get its software updated. So that means four and a bit miles later to collect it. My knee is only very very slowly improving. What it needs is rest and I've got too many races coming up for that (I *may* just snatch second place in the club age group trophies - but only if I get all the points I can in the remaining races.)

Hope the sleepless and the niggled have a better day and night today.

And Go Go Go Helegant! :-)

Cancelled my run, being sensible but just walking up stairs is a bit sore. Rest is required.

Ouch Ymee, that's enough for me to shut up shop alrogether and forget all about it.
V glad the blood test came back clear though.

I have a sort of day off today so I will take a run before going into work to finish a paper

um
Lovely day today - bright & sunny & still able to do deer stalking route in NF. Although the deer were keeping their distance.

Major disaster though - got back to the Royal Oak (Fritham) at 2:00 to find it had closed at 1:45 for a private event. "Had to" stop at the Lamb (Nomansland) instead. It's a good location, just the beer is 50p a pint more.

Like the supercilious deer :-)
MrS has got his Bournemouth photos through. Half of them are of a random lady so it looks like he had a Jodie Whittaker transformation mud race :-)

I won't repeat my coil stories, but hope never again to be in stirrups in a teaching hospital while a doctor yells down the corridor, "everyone, come and look, I've never seen anything like this before."

Fingers crossed for Friday MB

Have had a fabulous day off. 2 gorgeous dog walks, wardrobe declutter, time at park with youngest 2 grandkids and a lovely late afternoon bike ride (which considering I hadn't been out for ages ended up with lots of PB's on strava.

I have that happy contented knackered feeling 😁

About This Thread

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2018 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

Join in the chat on the friendliest thread around - all things discussed and sometimes even some running is talked about.

Next year's spreadsheet can be found here - let's fill it up
