Dry and brighter here, but 4 degrees. Late start today as another AGM to run tonight - yawn!!!
Porridge eaten then will be off for a run and hopefully this one will be enjoyable!

I'm a rubbish sleeper these days anyway, read my book for half an hour at 4 o'clock.

I seem to be in the pattern of very minimal sleep one night, and 11 hrs the next!!! Hipefully tonight will break the pattern.
4.7 miles done - still finding it really tough and so slow but that will all come back in time

Morning. Slept late but luckily I don't need to be at uni until 1pm (we have stuff to do in preparation but I did some of it last night).

Morning.
I have a feeling I kept being woken up last night by the dog wandering about. But I could have dreamed it. Could do with some matchsticks in any case.
I am right off running at the moment. Not sure if it’s because it’s so bloody dark all the time, or because I just CBA. Did 2 hours horse riding last night though, will that appease Sharktopus?

Morning! Second day in job, nothing to do yet so I am just sitting at my desk or wandering round chatting to people who’s names I don’t know yet. I have a member of staff who apparently went for this job but I got it. I was warned she is a bit pissed off, but it happens. She is going on maternity leave at the end of this week so I only have a couple of days with her then she is away for a while, hoping I can settle in and get established in that time.

Sounds like it's not too demanding yet, Lemon. I wonder if she feels she didn't get the job because of the maternity leave. I'm not suggesting that you are not a better candidate, but it happens all the time and I'd be pretty pissed if I thought it had happened to me. Tread softly. By the time she comes back, you'll be well settled and have won everyone over
