Oh, rubbish, Badger. Hope you make it by some miracle. I got a "rail replacement bus" to go about 10k into Nottingham not so long ago and it took over an hour! I was bursting for a pee the whole time as well. And it was a shoogly bus. When we did arrive at the train station, I begged the guard to let me back onto the platform to use the facilities.
I'm trusting your day is going better than that
I ran a week 5k but am struggling terrible. I've either got a virus in the chest or I'm allergic to something. It sounds asthmatic (though I've never had asthma so I don't know what it feels like) which makes me think allergy.

10K not so good this morning managed to ping lower calf warming up could feel it the whole away started really easy. Good course mostly off road and hilly. Visited St Johns after finish for some ice another club mate was being patched up he went arse over tit and had cuts everywhere he is fast and over 60 another club mate limped in with hamstring issues we joked us roadrunners should stay on the road

Oh dear eventful mornings for everyone and not in a good way
I managed to get 8 miles done, deliberately slowly, and it was ok. I need to build back up to longer distances so I was happy with that as a start

Nice group run for me this morning - 5 miles in two chunks - my longest bit of running non-stop for weeks! Tracking a club mate doing his first Ironman today - so far storming along and into his marathon

Oh no RRRRR, a ping doesn't sound good, hope it's nothing too bad and long lasting.
Well done LD and AL.
My race went okay and I wasn't last. There did seem to be rather a lot of uphill in it so more walking than I'd have liked but a nice enough route. I treated myself to an ice cream at the ice cream farm on the way home.

Very hot again - just thinking what the NF10 would have been like, if it was on this year. (Ans: Very Hot). Did a gentle 6 miles to the NF snake pit & back (although they prefer to call it a 'Reptile Centre') - chosen because it was hot and I thought we might see more than normal. Unfortunately the keeper said it was 'too hot' and only these babies were out ...
