It was misty here too at 9 o'clock, lots of people swimming in the sea - as in training swimming. It's the pier to pier swim tomorrow but I won't be anywhere near it. I did go in 4 times today though. :) Bike ride in a bit.

Few gentle miles done in the Forest today ... I have been saying it's dry, but compare 4 weeks ago to today ... (and 4 weeks ago was already very dry)

(So dry, I had to resort to a pint at the Royal Oak after the run)

Armagh parkrun today. First time there, ridiculously slow. This getting back into running lark isn't any fun at all. Beautiful route but hilly.

Evening
Happy holidays, and impressed at Paula's early start :-)
luck to the racers this weekend
Gorgeous hot day today, took oldest boychild up Cheviot and the long way down. Achilles remains unhappy, but I am hoping that if I ignore it, it will go away :-)
My weight starts with a 5...but that's only because hubby managed to entirely cock up the set-up of them and they are wildly inaccurate. I actually have no idea what I weigh, but am quite sure it's at least 10kg more than the scales tell me :-)

Short early run this morning.
Elder Daughter, having set off at 7.45, arrived at the half-way point (presumably 50k) at 15.56. Now she overnights in a tent and does the remaining 50k tomorrow.

About This Thread

Maintained by Merrymoo
Welcome to the 700 miles in 2018 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

Join in the chat on the friendliest thread around - all things discussed and sometimes even some running is talked about.

Next year's spreadsheet can be found here - let's fill it up
