Columba
That's very noble of Ed, if he was going to get the medal anyway.

13.1 miles on a treadmill... How can he bear it?

County XC champs this morning. My first XC in 11 years 😂😂😂😂 Very much a tarmac runner. Complete mud bath, slipping everywhere even In spikes it was horrible! 5 miles felt like at least 10 but we got the County Vets Team Silver medal so was worth turning up :)

Yeah Columbia I fear it's on my chest it is killing when I cough. I did go out and do 2 steady miles - felt like 20 :( I feel like I have lead pimping through my body not blood. So unless I have a miraculous recovery over night I'll hang your my trainers for a few days.

Meglet our pr days that too!!

Going back a bit, Seren, Pompey Half is pancake flat and a complete mix of terrain, the muddy 'beach' is the best bit. A few shoes have been lost and never found in that bit :-)

medal TgE 13.1 on a treadmill!
Hope the leg calms down quickly AL
Really sorry, but have forgotten who pressed the timer button when clapping - sorry but it made me LOL!
Running fail here :-( Having work done on the kitchen starting monday so spent the day emptying cupboards and making trips to the tip. How much cr*p can one family accumulate?!

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2017 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

Join in the chat on the friendliest thread around - all things discussed and sometimes even some running is talked about.

Happy running :-)
