well done on the PB, especially after such a long time. I did my usual run to/parkrun/run home. Different route today due to mud. There were pace runners at mine, I started behind the 35 so spent the first half catching the 25, managed an overtake to get 24.30. V happy with that considering my calves are not happy with my insanity, gave yesterday a rest but will attempt later. Not sure how you can do 60 days straight, especially around running. My HDS envelope arrived yesterday but I'm too scared to open it, it's sitting on the kitchen bench looking at me every time I go in there lol. Well done you park runners! Chatting to a guy afterwards he mentioned a trail running club so I joined it, exciting times....

Wimped out again today the lurgy has me coughing like a 100 a day smoker. I was going to do park run running there & back but barely had the strength to walk downstairs 😢 I'm going to do the food shop but I'll trot down at least I'll get a mile or two in and hope tomorrow I'm feeling better.

Happy Saturday all. parkrun with puppy for 3rd time. Not as successful this week as previous. We had a few stops to sniff some trees but did about 34 mins.

Ah ferret I always tell our timekeepers 'your job is just to click the button, leave everything else to other people!'
Bit sorry, but also not sorry, not to have run parkrun here today. A new course record of 532 and inevitable massive congestion at the turn point over the little bridge (which you have to cross 4 times) at the end of the lake.
One of the British XC team in Embra today, Graham Rush, is our parkrun course record holder.

6 uneventful miles for me. Too lazy for Parkrun this week. I am too lazy most Saturday mornings.

If anybody complains about their parkrun result they can have their money back (so we say at ours!)

This thread fell off my watch list again - I thought you'd all been quiet!
Daughter and TGEd are in Florida for the Disney runs. They did the 5k and 10k together over the last two days (big hooray to my non-running daughter!) and Ed was due to do the half Mara today and full tomorrow. Unfortunately a big electrical storm hit and so the half was cancelled. As the organisers are still giving out the half medals, and the full challenge medals for those who do all 4 races, he is currently in the gym banging out 13.1 miles on the treadmill so that he can take his medal with a clear conscience.

GeordieGirl, if you're coughing then it's on your chest, i.e. below the neck, and you shouldn't be running. (Above the neck, i.e. sniffles and sneezes, it's ok to run. So they say).
