Morning
Best of luck to Miss RRR - I hope she like mud!
rest day sounds like a good idea then Fleecy
That's a good one AR "the 700s get their s in gear for the new year "
really bad night's sleep - then didn't wake up 'til nearly 8 and feel all achy and blurgh
Forecast is saying sunny spells and dry, but just as the dog and I got home from our walk there was a short spell of hail and the "sky looks full"(mum's phrase)
Whichever way up, my 18 is not now going to happen today - I shall have a lot more tea and go out for a splash through the puddles and see how far I feel like going.
Enjoy your run Bint

Slight change of plan today: Eli was up and about when I was getting ready for parkrun so I decided to take him along as well. Son2 and TGEd ran; Eli and I went to see the ducks and then cheered and clapped the parkrunners. It was Eli's first time at parkrun and he seemed as interested as a nearly-1 year old could possibly be
This means I can now do my 18 as one long run later in the day. I'll have to keep an eye on the clock otherwise my time (and therefore motivation) might run out.

40 ish seconds faster at parkrun than last week and I managed to run it all for the first time in months so I'm pleased with the improvement! I'm still about 4 minutes slower than I'd like to be but its getting closer That wind is bitterly cold today. I'm at the hairdressers this aftie.

Steady 6 miles then a parkrun blast followed with a run with a friends dog that we are babysitting as the family have taken DD to the X-country. Helped with packing up parkrun course got me a volunteer tick.
