Snap Lipgloss. 71 is the most I have ever done in a month, as I am still a bewbie, but the lure of the 75 mile badge is very great. Is it ok to do 4slow miles on a Sunday and then your long run on a Monday???? My LSR is only 8 miles at the moment. Will my legs die?

Thanks OHMy. I really want that badge. Trying to work out when I can take the kids swimming to get the 10m badge too :-)

I logged some swimming but only time not distance, I should probably edit that so I can get a badge!

Nice going JD!

Nearly 4 here so I should be over 35 with a few on Sunday. Do I get a badge for that?! Very far from my highest January mileage but not my lowest either.

Well done all you mile monsters.

I'm not quite sure what's gone wrong with my mileage this month. Even assuming that I complete my 8 mile race on Sunday, this January will be my lowest of the 6 since I've been on Fetch (apart from 2014, when I wasn't allowed to run after my knee injury). I haven't really lost my mojo, I think I've just had a mild dose of the cba's.

I'd better get cracking in February!

Looks like you've only done parkrun and some races, Latterly. All those Tuesday evenings when you've claimed it's 'too wet' or 'too windy' to do hills with your club :) And you can't even blame it o

Still, you've done lots of cross-training :)

About This Thread

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2016 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

bunting and 700er medals are often spotted around here.

Happy running :-)
