No running today I've been swimming though!!! Big thing for me after I put myself of swimming many years ago.
My pal is supposed to be popping over for a hot tub, if she's not quick then I'll be putting my workout on instead!

Hello - I thought I'd join this target group & thread too - although I'll say first of all I am notoriously bad at sticking with threads so you may not see me here much after the end of January but I managed 503 miles in 2016 and that was my most in a year for a long time - even though I have previously always aimed for 700 miles in a year I think 500 is a realistic target.
I used to try to join the 700 thread but would come home from a day at work to so many posts that I couldn't keep up - I will probably be more of a lurker than poster here too I suspect.
Now I need to go and reset my target to 500 to see just how far behind I am already! Good luck everyone

No miles for me so far this year! I'm off to the gym for PT tonight so will get a km or two in on the treadmill before hand no doubt to get me up and running. The plan then is parkrun on Sat and possibly a longer run on Sunday

I'm going to go for this. It's also an optimistic goal but worth a go I'll be a late starter as I'm battling a few issues and also having surgery next week so will have some recovery/rehab to do and I'm not sure when I can run. Had planned on getting a few miles in before next week but have a sore foot which randomly developed yesterday. One injury at a time would be nice!
