Pixies decent. The Cure one is also very good - Finding that i keep bouncing back to other Cure stuff when one of the new tracks reminds me of an old one.

I've been listening to the new Amy Rigby album this week in anticipation of seeing her in concert in Edinburgh tonight.

The new Fievel is Glauque lp is bewitching and annoying the hell out of me in almost equal measures (often in the same song), kinda leaning towards the former. It's like a cat that won't sit still.

Listening to Kim Deals new album "Nobody Loves you More". Enjoying it. Fairly chilled and a surprising amount of trumpets/horns. Its her debut solo album - surprised she hadn't done one before in amongst all the great stuff she's been involved with.

Second thumbs up for Kim Deal lp here. The title track alone is worth price of admission, sweeping Bond theme tune-esque strings, really works. Some of it influenced by looking after her mother who was suffering from dementia and who eventually died, its quite an emotive listen.

New Innocence Mission one "Midwinter swimmers " is an absolute beaut. For lovers of Mazzy Star, Galaxie 500 and Low, their 13th or 14th lp, I've lost count. Lovely review from the Grauniad.
