it is actually quite sad, what is worse is that this malarkey is making me choose other stuff, I do like a pale Ale, IPA, bitter so I have to go looking, there is barely a beer that has been repeated all year, fireside and Mosaic come to mine. I should pop over to FRAD and explain something.

44. (bottle) Carlsberg Alcohol Free Organic Pilsner (0.5%). AF and organic to boot. Carlsberg clearly targeting the woke Gen Z. Tasted fine, I'd have it again.
45. (bottle) Stortebeker Original 1402 Akohol Fri (0.5%). Claimed to be a pilsner, it tasted a bit heavier but that could be because I was drinking it near-warm.
46. (bottle) St. George Beer (4.7%). An Ethiopian lager from an African restaurant. Tasted perfectly pleasant, but could have been a little colder.
47. (bottle) Mariestad Export (5.3%). Ordered in error because the menu said it was 3.5%. The label proudly announced it was a Class III lager, and it did taste a bit third class to be honest. Probably would have been better a bit colder, though. (I'm beginning to notice a theme for this batch of bottles...)

I found a Ltd Edition "Coronation Street" beer in the co-op last night. Brewed by Robinsons. It was pleasant but unremarkable.

We've got that one in our co-op too at the moment. I've had it before and it is unremarkable but I bought a couple of bottles the other day because they were marked down to about £1.25 each.

I’d buy more if they were that price! :)

Hertford Tiger
Not many different beers to add recently
A Madri allegedly a Spanish lager. Really nothing to write home about
Brixton pale ale a typical mass produced “craft beer”

Both had when there was little choice

Today I had a lovely new beer from Brewsters a Golden ale 4.8% called Tilly Shilling. Very interesting sharp taste to it. A great beer

and here we are in 2024....

I still really like a pint.

I think this is not too controversial health wise. Lots of beers about these days. I interpret it as different beers within 2023, and you can, if you like; avoid beers you have had before, but as ever the list is yours to do what you like.
