Casky weekend it seems.

Ruby Treasure, 4.8%, Donkeystone Brewery, Oldham, Red Ale. A slightly sweet bitter really...Nice though.

Black Mountain Stout, 4%, Tudor Brewery, Llanhilleth, very nice indeed. Caramel if anything.

Citra Pale Ale, Robinson's, Stockport, 3.8%. Very well kept, Robinson's are by no means a favourite but this was good apart from that dull aftertaste you slways get from them, their yeast at a guess.

Bottle, TITANIC,Burslem, Plum Porter, it is just great! No way does it taste 5.9%, a mark of a properly made beer.

46 I think now. Will go back and check.

I think last time I posted here I was up to 32 on my cask/draught list. I don't think I have been recording as diligently as I should but here are a few more
pint 33 Green Jack Mahseer 5%
pint 34 Moongazer Jigfoot
pint 35 Colchester - Ambassador

And on the bottles/cans list at 27 (again I may not have recorded so well recently) is also Moongazer Jigfoot because we wanted to compare it to the draught

I am growing to like the idea of 50 cask/keg,50 bottles and 50 cans. Perhaps all different!

My bottles and cans are on one list at the moment - I honestly don't think I would drink 50 different cans in a year!

I was just thinking it might be difficult, and I don't want to put myself in the position where I pick a pint because of my list rather than the one I want.

Given we have holidays away in Scotland (renting a house with only 1 pub down the road), Switzerland plus my beer bet win may mean I can get very close on the can/bottle front.

I use Flavourly quite regularly - but only when their offers bring the prices down to about £1.20 per can. Otherwise, some of the 'special offers' ain't that great.

and here we are in 2024....

I still really like a pint.

I think this is not too controversial health wise. Lots of beers about these days. I interpret it as different beers within 2023, and you can, if you like; avoid beers you have had before, but as ever the list is yours to do what you like.
