Been a bit slower as since reaching 50 I have not been so obsessive about not duplicating. But today for the cask list
I can add

Tring brewery’s side pocket for a toad. A light session ale
And Farr brewery ‘s chief jester a lovely Golden Ale a local brewery to Hertford.

And the can list

Gamma ray from Beavertown

Had an Anchor California Lager. It’s rather nice, light and refreshing. 4.9% but doesn’t seem like it.

Had a lovely cask pale ale today from Navigation brewery. A new Dawn. But I think the fact we were sitting in the sun helped
Also a can of IPA from cloudwater. I will happily drink both again.

41. (draught) Fine Tuned Sunshine Reggae (4.2%). An oldie but a goodie at the Black Cat, but first time this year.
42. (draught) Pressure Drop Pale Fire (4.8%). This certainly was pale, to the extent I queried whether the barman had accidentally served me a lager. Nice drop, but not as nice as the Sunshine Reggae.

A cask beer from the waterfront at King’s Lynn a Jigfoot golden ale by Moongazer brewery
And a can of West coast IPA from Cloudwater. I think I quite like the lack of funny names. Just a beer that is what it says on the tin!

2 more for the list this weekend 😋

Moonshine, draught cider in Spoons. Don't have any further details as OH got it.

Super Session IPA from Hop Kettle brewing company. Just 3.7% with citra hops, I like those.

I also had a slurp of my OH beer, but not enough to count. It was more like a bitter but not unpleasant.

43. (bottle) Erdinger Alkoholfrei (<0.5%). Post Weston Super Half recovery. I'm pretty sure this isn't the first time I've had it this year, but I was shocked to see it missing from my record. Now fixed.

About This Thread

and here we are in 2024....

I still really like a pint.

I think this is not too controversial health wise. Lots of beers about these days. I interpret it as different beers within 2023, and you can, if you like; avoid beers you have had before, but as ever the list is yours to do what you like.
