Dinner out tonight, might pop in a pub for one, looking for something darker as dinner is Vietnamese! That'll be a lager with that in all probability.

Another flavour of Alska cider, peach, mango & lime this time.

Might have a beer later as I don't have anywhere to be tomorrow 🙃

No 38 definitely makes up for last nights taxi duties. A can of Funky Drummer from 71 brewing of Dundee. Possibly my favourite can of the year (JHB cask still no1). Funky drummer is a7.5% DIPA- lovely tropical flavours.

No Titanic Plum Porter in Morrisons today.

The man who arrived just after me was almost in tears. His wife pointed to the St Peters version. He wasn't impressed.

I recommended the Batemans Dark Fruits Porter to him.

Got a can of 'Zoom Time' from Loch Lomond Brewery. Described as a session NEIPA.
Sweet and fruity. 4.5%.
Quite nice.

18. (bottle) Exmoor Gold 5%

First of 2022, but an old favourite. Never quite as nice bottled as on draught, but a pleasure to sit down with. Especially now it's had a chance to warm up a couple of degrees from the fridge.

Tomorrow is my day to work out this years so far…might do a list of ciders too as beer is and emergency escape from Strongbow and Magners…🤣
Meanwhile, recommendation of the day is… Biere Speciale Rum finished beer £2.99 (750ml) from Aldi. Totally acceptable to go with a curry or burger.

and here we are in 2024....

I still really like a pint.

I think this is not too controversial health wise. Lots of beers about these days. I interpret it as different beers within 2023, and you can, if you like; avoid beers you have had before, but as ever the list is yours to do what you like.
