We have the World's worst Morrisons* 400m from home. Asda, Lidl, Tesco Express, Iceland and Co-op Local within a mile (ish). Sainsburys, Aldi, M & S, another Co-op Local, bigger Tescos** within 5 miles. * Our local supermarket is pants. Constantly under staffed. Poor choice of stock compares to other Morrisons in the area. I pray most weeks that they sell it to Waitrose. Our only reachable Waitrose (5 miles) closed last year and became yet another Lidl. ** I'd guess we have 6 or 7 very large Tesco stores within 10 miles. |

We’ve got Tesco, 2x Lidl, Aldi, Farmfoods and 2x Co-op all about 7 miles away. Go out to 10 miles and you can add a ScotMid, but I’m not sure why you’d want to. Sainsbury, John Lewis, M&S etc reserved for big city. Waitrose reserved for Central Belt.

My nearest big town has all the mainstream supermarkets the nearest of which is a Tesco at about 20 minutes drive (9 or 10 miles) but I prefer not to shop there if at all possible so I tend to drive to one of the others - usually Asda or Morrisons. In our village we have the community shop and in two of the neighbouring villages (few minutes drive) there is a Co-op - one medium sized one more of a village shop size. None of those are particularly great for buying beer though!

Up to twenty now 1 keg - Beavertown Neckoil. ( pub had no cask beers but 5 hand pumps. All empty) big disappointment. 1 bottle of lucky saint zero alcohol lager. As good as most normal strength lagers in my opinion. |

Daily Bread Bitter, 3.8% Abbeydale, Sheffield, basically an old fashioned bitter, fruity, slightly sweet, slightly malty bitter. Could have had a lot more than just 1 but the OH has to be a witness at court today. Here's a view of my local. I should have moved the hand sanitizer. |
