I went in there during our hiking holiday around the Cleveland Way. I hope they haven't poshed it up too much...I thought it was great. I had my first beer of the trip in there, and nothing beat it over the next two weeks.

Seen Helmsley Brewery on Farcebook, looks like just a lick of paint in the tap room. looks all right.
That counts as an extensive re-furb in Yorkshire ;)

Stuck at home with covid, so no trip to the Black Cat tonight :(

Luckily my taste hasn't gone, but I'm pretty sure that whatever they had on would be nicer than this (maybe I should have had a Franziskaner instead, but I wanted to continue adding to my list).

I still really like a pint.

I think this is not too controversial health wise. Lots of beers about these days. I interpret it as different beers within 2023, and you can, if you like; avoid beers you have had before, but as ever the list is yours to do what you like.
