Well done everyone!
I’d probably have fallen off my goal if it were not for my 10 year old. He is now wanting to do press ups as part of his workout and we’re doing them together with planks and other exercises. I’m impressed and inspired by his dedication! 😀

Junior PTs are great aren't they JCB? That's brilliant.
Another 80 yesterday which gets me to 4700. Should be OK for the target with some to spare.

Dave, I eased into the planks; they ended up being easier than I expected. I fell off the plank wagon a while ago but then got back on with inspiration from my junior PT.
Yes, so true Nellers.
Getting close Dave and Nellers.

On Planks, and I'm no expert, one of the YouTube strength guys I've watched always does plank variations because he says the plank is too "passive". He does things like "Pendulum planks" where you swing each leg out to the side and back in turn, so you're constantly changing the direction of the loading during the plank. I've found that actually makes holding the position easier and (according to him at least) also makes it a more effective exercise.

120 added. Just over 300 to go.
Ah yes, planks. Lots of possible variations.
