Passed the 15,000 target today. Going to carry on ticking over for the rest of the year but no more targets this year. Looking at a combined target for Press-Ups and Sit-Ups for 2019, thinking of starting off targetting 25,000 with at least 10,000 of each.

Is it too late to start this? Got a running injury so I'm looking for alternative exercise.

You would do well to do 5000 before Dec 31st. Feel free but I reckon a 2019 version will happen....

I’ve been following this thread all year Groundhog and have yet to do one that I feel truly qualifies so you can steam ahead of me :-)
I have improved my core muscles a bit in readiness though

I will kick off a 2019 thread later this month. We started strongly but lost a few along the way. Why not get a few in so you are fully up to speed?

Hope the injury heals up

I’m still on 5,000 as I really can’t be bothered with more.

Mine don't really qualify, as they're on a chair-arm rather than the floor, but that's all I can do, so I keep on with them.

Ended up with 565 last week. Annual total now at 15,145.

About This Thread

I used to have decent upper body strength but then I switched from doing triathlons to pure running ...

Edit: now we have a spreadsheet thanks to GordonG
