How clever of you to notice it… or rather how dumb of me not to notice all these years. I’ve always assumed my tight-ish ankles were the only exception to my general bendiness, perhaps shouldn’t be surprised my wrists are worse if anything.

Lol, but thanks. Wouldn’t it be brilliant if it helped my block starts!

I think it's quite interesting how tightness and flexibility varies. My hamstrings are (of course) pretty tight, although better than they were. My arms are generally not too bad - I can do eagle arms, and bringing my palms together behind my back etc. My shoulders are quite tight though, and my hips are dreadful. I've seen some improvement but suspect I might be at the limits of where I'm likely to get.

Also done.
Found it hard, although I have also done a weights session today (outside I may add - the weights not the yoga). My right wrist/have didn't like the wrist twist thing at all. I would have been put off as a beginner if that was my first Adriene experience.

Am going to be dead selfish here (it is my thread after all 😉) and say I’m quite glad it’s not absolute basics and lowest common denominator. I’m all for inclusivity … but talking down is an excluder!
… and I agree with Elly that the cues were very clear. Haven’t done much yoga for ages but didn’t actually need to look at the screen that much.

No wonder it was tough after a weights session, Teebs! Xxx Did mine yesterday for that very reason.

Yes! Glad it was not just me. Wonder if my arms are also at an angle normally

So fascinating that our bodies compensate - imperceptibly in the main - for any tightness, weakness, soreness or whatever. But that's one reason why we re-injure or never fully heal - seems like our bodies are clever... but not clever enough or too clever by half.
