ok jenny..fair comment on your XC so even more impressive that you stick at it! I have played with hill reps but they never seem to have done anything for me; I seem to do better by having routes that incorporate some brutish inclines (...now and again!). Hope the bug dies quickly AL, I've been lucky that I didn't catch the nasty one my wife had. Fenners, your streak runs are further than mine but I'm still getting up early every day too. I don't really want to streak for too long because if something gets in the way of it I'll be disappointed so I might have to make a conscious effort to take a day out! 26/100.

Slow start to the month for me so far with just 8.4 on the cards after Parkrun & XC on the weekend.
Decided against the usual Monday club run yesterday as still not feeling the most energised but will do Track tomorrow, Parkrun on Saturday and a long run on Sunday so I need to keep my level of base fitness up.
First Target Race of 2017 is in February and is a race I have unfinished business with due to a terrible run last year. Will also be good to see what I can do with a road HM

Get well soon AL.
Making the most of a day off and got my run in early. 6 miles takes me to 29/100.

28/100, and through 2100 miles for the year. Need another 108 to beat last years total, so will hopefully manage that. Just.

10/100, no chance of hitting the target this month but 7 out of 12 isn't bad.

Lol PF, I know but with all the things I have to get through for the rest of the month I'll be lucky to get beyond 60 miles.

29/100 and creeping towards the December 100..even though we're only a week in, I think it's looking good so far. Superb mileage SM6 and it looks like you 'll beat my wife (torey)! Way way over my total. Always good to be realistic pedros yet I've found that throwing in numerous short runs helps towards the final tally and doesn't interfere much with other commitments. What with the occasional poor weather conditions, the dark mornings and nights, the chances of a lurgy, Christmas and all that..December can be a difficult month. RedAlex..low on energy is "ugh"; been there just like many of us. That's exactly the time when I withdraw from my long run and stick to short manageable distances.
