I will be in at 14th soon, have just re-adjusted.

I wouldn't worry, I normally start way outside the 20, and then as the year goes on, move up steadily without increasing my miles.

The plan is to add at least 160 miles next weekend, so that should help a bit :-D

It's all a bit distorted by the spring marathoners - they tend to peak toward April, then rest up (relatively) 'til an autumn training plan kicks in.

I'm riding a little high for me, having had a decent break at the end of last year - but my expectation is to end up nearer 2500 this year, assuming no injuries <fingers crossed emoji>.

Re-adjustment my target and I'm back on the list.

oumaumau - I'm guilty as a charged as one of those spring marathoners distorting the list

paul0 - it's just horses for courses ;)

Sometimes I wonder whether I should give the 'two marathons a year' a proper go, and get a better pb, but I usually have most of my races booked before the end of the previous year and there are just so many races/places to run...

I think I’m still just about alive this month. Lost last weekend to work and most of this week to illness though, so somewhat done on where I’d like to be. Long road ahead of course :)

How’s everyone else doing? Good luck this weekend Sam, sounds like you’ve got something epic lined up!

I’ve had two weeks where I’ve had to miss a few easy runs and one long run last weekend but I’m just ticking along staying above the yearly target.

Can’t believe how quick February comes and goes. Long run tomorrow should see me on target for the month and then maintaining it through next week.
