Thanks oumaumau!

Didn’t want to start Feb with a coconut, so managed 7 very, very slow miles in driving snow which was thigh deep at times. If it is true that one should never make a decision whilst running up a hill, I believe the same can be said while in a snowdrift.

Best wishes for a good February everyone💪

Sounds like fun SailorSteve, more of a dusting here and rapidly melting. Have kids home on a snow day, and fitting an additional radiator to combat the cold - a perfect combination...
Hoping to get out for 7 or 8 before it gets dark, depends on whether the joints leak or not when I refill the system... Wish me luck :)

My dad always advised me to avoid starting any plumbing job after 2pm so here’s hoping that you’re leak free oumaumau.

And good luck Chunky🤞

Slight weep on one of the cores, but the joy of living in a hard water area is it will seal itself.... :) Off for a run once I've tidied up the tools

Lunch time run was surprisingly o.k. My VO2Max intervals were more like Lactate Threshold thanks to the snow but it'll do. I also did a parkrun course check whilst I was at it, and it's o.k. *at the moment*!

Solid 10 today, glad of the microspikes - fab snowy run up to Earls Seat on the Campsies :)

Probably need to push on beyond 10 miles soon .. glad there’s no rush thought. Good luck to any Spring marathoners long running tomorrow!

I think only a couple on the current thread will remember who I am! Four weeks post total hip replacement and I walked my first unaided 0.4 miles! Well...it's start!!
