weds social run ended in a recurrance of injury for my friend. it will be weds social walk next week:(
on the plus side I had to run to the car to go back and fetch my friend...i threw in a few intervals on the way

Thanks Jenny! Easy 10k this morning...took yesterday off as was going shopping with my best friend. We only get together once a year and she took the day off to see me. TexMex fix as well...fish tacos...of which I'm going to have the second one for breakfast...needed a doggy bag yesterday as we split an avocado starter - tempura coated with nice dip - it was the equivalent of half an avocado each!

As I'm at 1,160 miles I'm going to smash my original target for 1200 for the year. So have decided to up my game and join you all in the quest for 1500, only got to average 3.58 miles per day for the rest of the year :)

Hows everyone else getting on?

Welcome TRA, well done on your year so far! And hello, everybody!

Several runs in a lovely new pair of Sauconys and I have a horrible feeling they're triggering a recurrence of the Bastard Plantar Fasc. My left heel is distinctly niggly, so resting today to let it settle. Very dubious about the shoes and I really can't face a couple of months not running. Will go back to the Brooks for the next few days, and hope all will be well for my next long run which is on Sunday the 6th.

Gradually sneaking up on 1500.
