Nellers
I baled on my morning run today and had an extra hour in bed. I think it was the right choice.

Morning all! Managed a 5M recovery run in the drizzle this morning - would have prefered a bike ride but don't like it in the wet if I have a choice. Well done Mr J on breaking a barrier - as WW says hope it is good encouragement. Enjoy meeting Queenie + Duke WW :)

Oh and DocM yes the course was rather undulating in places although not so much as if expected - but I took it fairly easy chatting and eating at the checkpoints. :D

Morning all. No run today. I'm at the vets with a poorly paw .... my dogs paw.

Well done Mr J.

Morning folks, an early morning tiny tempo banked.

The four miles at tempo pace were 7:45, 7:47, 7:44, 7:37, happy with that.

National 10 ruined by my week with a cold.

I'm probably 90% fit which for easy training is fine but full efforts it wasnt healthy enough.

Very easy 7 this morning

How exciting that the thread has a royal connection today!

A running rest day here in the dull and grey E Mids. There should probably be some housework, but it's not tempting me.

Off out to a charity curry do this evening, looking forward to that.

Ran The Beast yesterday and it certainly was. 12 wet and muddy miles over the Purbecks with several stiles thrown in for good measure. Fell over half a dozen times in a 10 metre stretch and ended up crawling! Had to walk large sections on the SWCP as it just didn't feel safe to risk falling and sliding over the cliff edge.

Suffering today with nettle stings, bramble scratches and a blister on the top of my middle toe.

Get well soon to those with sniffles.
