Mrs Jigs (Luverlylegs)
Going to have a nice run around Grafham water with my friend today, slight fly in the ointment with an acquaintance tagging along...
Glad they got the results sorted Doc, must have been a nightmare.

Jono.
acquaintance you say ?
never mind its Easter Sunday - peace unto all
(Mrs J thought our chocolate fountain had broke - paid about £10 for it eight years ago, still going strong - only comes out on Easter Sunday - one touch from my Lazarus type hands and it worked - J Jnr would not have been happy)
cycled 30 miles

What a nice thing to say Mrs J! Would be lovely to meet you too - and Garfield who I see is there too - so will definitely aim to get over to Fetchpoint.
Well done on your sub-22 for your 50th Pikelet! Must have been something in the air yesterday as I outsprinted a young lad in the last 100m yesterday. He passed me initially about 3.5km, but was clearly struggling. I passed him several times after, but every time he half-killed himself trying to get past again. Knew I'd probably be able to outsprint him, so went past him and two other chaps in the last 100. Think he was 11 or 12, and felt a bit bad as he was wearing his football shirt and supports the same team as me, but hey, they've got to learn
Thanks for the advice by the way Fenners - I know I've been going off too fast, think I've done the first mile in around 6.45 the last two weeks, so next time I'm able to run one fast, I will try going off slower.
Busy day yesterday - after parkrun and our RD's strength and conditioning class we were able to catch up with people over coffee briefly, then had to spend the afternoon with a friend shopping for a dress for a friend's upcoming wedding (neither of us like shopping, so it was a bit of an ordeal), then in the evening Mr J went to a gig, so was on my feet for most of the day.
Nice steady 12 miler with a few club mates done this morning, may go for a stroll later if it doesn't rain.
Enjoy your taper Fenners, and good luck for the Fling!

Can't let ourselves be beaten by an 11/12 y.o. can we Jenny?
I ran yet another Parkrun yesterday and a season's best of 23:13. Each time I've run over the last month the time has been quicker (apart from when I'm pacing), over 2 minutes improvement. Next month sub 23? Only another 1 1/4 minute improvement needed to match last year's 5k race times.
To "celebrate" I went for a very early 11 miles run average 8m38s pace this morning - good timing because the wind has picked up a lot since then. I might be a bit tired now :-p.

Mrs Jigs (Luverlylegs)
We don't appear to have anyone racing until next weekend when we have 4 participants all in different marathon distances
We were going to cycle over to Stanwick to support at the 10k weather is a bit too cool to cycle then stand around for a couple of hours before cycling back so we will drive instead, might get out on our bikes this afternoon.
