Jono.
well done Pikelet

big no with regard to your banana Funky - but I'm sure the stewardess will provide you with one in flight.

10 miles this morning - nicely paced, I thought given the breezy conditions

1) 1m - 9:26(9:25/m) 128cal 6.37/0mph
2) 1m - 9:32(9:32/m) 130cal 6.29/0mph
3) 1m - 9:31(9:31/m) 129cal 6.31/0mph
4) 1m - 9:30(9:30/m) 129cal 6.32/0mph
5) 1m - 9:24(9:24/m) 129cal 6.38/0mph
6) 1m - 9:20(9:20/m) 128cal 6.43/0mph
7) 1m - 9:26(9:26/m) 129cal 6.36/0mph
8) 1m - 9:17(9:17/m) 129cal 6.46/0mph
9) 1m - 9:32(9:32/m) 130cal 6.29/0mph
10) 1m - 9:29(9:29/m) 129cal 6.32/0mph

not a bad week running wise, managed 3 runs and the Achilles isn't complaining - it still lets me know its there - but manageable.

You should be fine to get in Funky! So long as your banana is knitted, it doesn't count as real foodstuff! At some point, I might share a rather amusing but inconvenient story about Scotch eggs and trying to bring some home for a friend of mine...

Oh to be young Doc re 20:10.

We had a pleasant run at Corby parkrun. Rather chilly though in the wind.

My weigh in was good news.

We have bacon muffins for dinner.

Funky Monkey didn't get to meet Nellers 🙁 but he isn't too sad as that means he is going to be the VLM Fetchpoint mascot and gets a trip to Canada and even better he gets to go with the delightful Garfield :-) banana

Excellent running, people. How exciting for Monkey, another trip abroad! I should've knitted him a passport.

Walked to parkrun and back and funnel managed there this morning. Good grief, it was like herding mad cats this morning. Numbers are increasing each week, and we had loads of new runners who were unsure about exactly what to do at the finish (despite the new runners' briefing they got at the start), and even quite a few regulars and tourists who should know better about keeping moving in line through the funnel and taking a token - and also not collapsing in a crumpled sweaty heap before taking a token. I was getting quite shouty, and my smile was a bit fixed and possibly rather scary towards the end!

Butternut squash tagine with couscous for Vegetarian Saturday tea.
