Well done everyone on your achievements for the year. 16 miles this morning took me to 2002 for the year which beats my previous highest by 1 mile 😀
Huntsman thanks for looking after us all so capably in 2016.
All the best to you all for 2017. If you're stuck for a resolution call into my 'Spread the Love in 2017' thread.
See you next year. Peace x

Exactly Cam, it's not necessary to hit the target, just enjoy the running and banter

I'm finishing the year on 1,111.1 miles - how's that for a number?
A tentative start to 2017 will hopefully take place tomorrow.

Nice numbers those Flatlander. I was also thinking of maybe cranking out a few miles to bring upon the quadruple 1 but stuff got in the way.
Lots of great performances at Ely 10 today. The piper was there today but not as voluptuous as my previous experience. Think the locals told him to keep it down maybe.
Bicycle valves can be complicated jono.
My thanks to Huntsman for leading the thread through 2016.

Jono.
Huntsman once again - thank you for looking after the thread in 2016. In case I don't see any of you before midnight, all the very best for 2017.
Once again the 1500 thread has been excellent company throughout the year - most of us have experienced the normal high's and low's of a runners lot, some have achieved fantastic PB's in their chosen distance and conquered new distances.
I like the add on's of the thread, Fetchies talking about every day life, the jokes and general banter.
Of course the aim is to run 1500 miles and unwittingly, setting a target for training achieves this for a lot of runners. But if you don't make it, well there's always the year after.
Cheers
I have party food to start preparing before the girls get home - best have a shower as well!
