I really like mince pies, but I have them from September so by Christmas Day I'm not inclined to eat many - I'd rather have the Christmas pud on the Main Day.

I only like my own homemade mince pies. The pastry has ground almond and orange zest. You can keep your brussels sprouts and lumpy gravy. I am all in favour of 12 pigs in blankets though. WTF is the deal with bread sauce. Not a thing I had ever heard of until very recently. Oh and stuffing must be oatmeal stuffing.

Day 4 done. My OH commented that today’s was hard but I did reply that there was nothing to say you couldn’t take a minute rest in between each plank variation.
