Thatās a canny 10m FF - lovely. And canāt beat a friends social run (although not a fan of drizzle).
Weāre at the boat so went for a river bank run, started barefoot for almost 1m before it got too spiky I even had a dip in the river (just my feet although it was tempting to lie down to cool off) back to the bāoffice and a productive afternoon. Looking forward to a nice walk this evening and Iāve got a longer run planned to Huntington tomorrow to drop mamās sponsor forms off and pay her money to Magpas, she is over Ā£850 raised from her wing walk - some pics on my blog if you want to see a crazy lady!

Good miles there everyone and thanks for the well dones.
Enjoy the boat GG and good luck to your mam, wing walking looks like fun.
I had today off work so did my long run. 10 hilly miles in the roasting sun. Not fast but felt half decent so was much happier today. I'm RD and Parkrun on Saturday so wanted to get the miles done.

Arghhh to your 4.96 LL !! But also well done of course, but that missing 0.4 does my head inš. Great ten miler Lesley, good to see you doing double figures again. Good luck re park run director stuff tomorrow. A bare foot run gg! I'd never really trust public places for that these days but your feet are tougher than mine I guess! Incredible pics of your Mam and blog about her exploits.
The Tiger Moth reminded me of my Dad who trained for his "wings" during the war in a Tiger Moth. A cool morning here, 10c. Bit of a breakthrough doing 10k along trails and some road, furthest I've done since October last year. I won't grumble at it being run/walk because it's work in progress .

Well done GG for your barefoot run. It's not something that I would contemplate.
Well done Lesley for your 10 miler in the roasting sun š
Good luck with your RD duties tomorrow.
Another well done Steve for your 10k mainly on trails.
A lovely sunny morning here, but just the usual Friday Farmers Walk.

Thanks for keeping me going fetchies! Another 3.2 miles this morning and a quicker run/walk pace. Still can't get beyond three minutes running without burning chest but interesting checking progress week by week. Slow process but my best this year so far . Glad your Farmer's Walk is on going hs. Good 13 miler gg ; I don't know why faster runners can't sometimes slow down to a comfortable pace for someone else instead of soft of making it less comfortable for whoever is doing the slower pace! Still, you were able to chat and then turn off on your own route. Phew!
