That makes 40.6 for my week and I thought I’d struggle this month to get my 100.

Not at all GG, we are all very different in our abilities and I'm currently very lucky to have some pace in me.

Hope the ten miler is going well hs, the north east wind here isn't nice and I only did a three miler today. Don't like the cold!
Fabulous time there Lesley, your patience and perseverance has paid off .
High miles like that great 18 will impact on your pace gg, you're doing tough stuff there. When is that ultra now?
Running feels wonderful when distance and desired pace come together well and that's reflected in your training FF. To think you had lost your mojo not so long ago! I'm hoping for that magic of some sort again..... though goodness knows when!

I know I must prioritise some speed work again I am enjoying the social runs too much and running slower with my friend and my mam (when she’s back running) my legs quite like.

I don’t have an ultra this year (yet) but got 3 B2B night runs 17-18-19 March (10m 26.5m & 14m)

You're a machine GG and great stamina too. The main thing in my book is keeping fit and enjoying it regardless of the pace.
I have just booked the Eurostar to the Hague to do a parkrun weekend away. Using the train to minimise my carbon footprint. Not until July but something to look forward to.

This mornings intended 10 road miles Steve, ended up as 11.22. It was very cold when we set off, but it did warm up a bit. Well done for your 3 miles in the cold

Best of luck GG with your back to back night runs.I presume that you will treat them as LSD runs.

That sounds very exciting Lesley, a future weekend in the Hague including a parkrun. Very commendable using the train to minimise your carbon footprint.
