I'm fine thanks LL and have had no exercise except for walking back from the supermarket with 4 heavy shopping bags.
That was a good interval session, and tough. I'm sure your plan will soon up your mileage.
Yes, dark very early this evening.

HS, you said you weren't going to be lifting weights. What then are those 4 heavy shopping bags? Perhaps they were weightless after all. I have enough trouble lifting my carcass and carrying it around; that's enough weight at 11 stone!

1200 intervals LL. Impressive stuff. Because of who are the "big three" here when it comes to intervals I have re thought my approach to such agony (!!) and re measured a nice, straight, flat bit of quiet trail where I'll do 400's for a while. You three have inspired me to buck up! Lovely conditions early this morning, almost...almost headtorch needed on trail at 6.15 am.

Good running everyone 🙂.
I haven't done much these past couple of weeks. The wee man was really ill last week and now I have it too. Going to try a run on Friday I think and see.
Not looking forward to the winter months, here in NE Scotland it's dark before 4 and till after 8 in December.

Evangel, they were all very heavy. A bit like the world's strongest man, where they walk/run with very heavy weights in each hand🤣
Good luck with your 400's Steve. Well done for an early morning run.
I hope that your wee man is feeling better now Lesley, and that you will be ok for a Friday run. I don't normally set off for a morning run before 8.30am.
This morning was an interval session and we did 10 x 60 seconds fast, 60 seconds recoveries. My fastest 60 seconds was the 10th which I averaged 7.22 minute miling.

Sorry to hear the little man was poorly Lesley. Hope you both recover quickly. Steve I am doing Stevenage Half. I did it 2 years ago and would like to better my time. If I do it won't be a best but a highest WAVA for a half. The plan has 4 runs per week.

Impressive stuff all well done on the 8 & good luck with your plan LL, 21 forest miles sound lovely hs - when I which mara are you doing?
Hope you’re both well Lesley and Steve glad the foot is ok.
Great running as always Ev and everyone else too.
Iceland was phenomenal can’t believe this time last week we were excited to go I was heading to bed for a couple hours sleep before setting off.
I have come back quite refreshed considering we never stopped while we were there. Missed an erupting volcano by a few hours - we walked up on the morning, drive past about 8-8.30pm it erupted an hour or so later! Gutted (although I might have given Sir Mo a run for his mile had we been there)
Ive stick to my plan reasonably this week and 8 tonight brings me to 1100 for the year! My highest ever miles in a year and I’ve still got 3.5m left!
Long one on Friday sadly won’t be as pretty as your run hs

What a wonderful holiday gg and wow to your best ever annual mileage ...with plenty of year left too! Hope the lad is very much ok lesley and you are not sidelined for long. Fantastic to be doing your 25th half soon LL and your training is well up to the mark and promises a fab outcome. Heavy bags are my forte quite often too hs! That's some pace on your intervals.
I tentatively restarted 400 s today which went well. I only did four but pleased. More next week!
