Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

Well done FF for your 16.6 miles.

Thanks GG and well done for your two short runs.

Well done EdG for your 3.39, or possibly 3.35 excellent marathon time.

This morning was a lovely, but very muddy 6.81 miles in the forest with two running friends.

Thanks hillstrider and well done for your muddy run. I avoid mud as much as possible. 9 miles this morning for myself as I doubt I shall get out tomorrow for a run.

Great running guys I also don’t mind the mud best just to embrace it.

Been out with geordiemum tonight lovely woodland section, bit dicey in areas for her but I’m a canny banister.

Back to training tomorrow reintroducing intervals 😬

Up and out before work this morning, returning into training mode with 5 x 1min intervals at the end of the run, typically last 2 were up hill and stuck crossing a road.

I managed to land hard on a rock in my vibrams last night and with sod's law I kept landing on other stones/tree roots in same spot, resulting in my having a sore left foot this morning. So had to turn back and put proper trainers on which did the trick.

Now to get through the day - so much to do so best log out of Fetch

Well done for yesterday's 9 miles FF.

Thanks Lesley. We actually did have to change our course yesterday, because we weren't making any progress struggling through deep swampy mud.

Well done GG for this early mornings interval session. I hope that your sore left foot soon feels better.

This mornings Farmers Walk done and dusted, and now for a few stretches etc.

You were right last week hs, I foolishly overdid it when things hadn't cleared up. Been on the back foot all this time and still coughing night and day. Will be back soon!

I hope that you soon shake off that nasty cough Steve. Is your wife fully fit now?

This morning was 3.57 miles on roads with a running friend, including 5 reps round an undulating circuit of 0.33 miles. I don't know whether it was the new Asics, but each of the circuits was quicker than those 3 weeks ago. My quickest today was 9.14 min miling, and last session was 10.23. I hope that I can maintain the improvement.
