That would be helpful, I also suggested tieing his laces together but he has elastic ones 🙄 mind you the resistance training might slow him down a bit 😂😂

Lol. If we can just avoid blood and bruises, I'll be grateful! :-)

But really, no need, I'm not running again until Monday.

Besides, it's wet and windy out there!

Just completed half way and exactly where I planned to be. Leaves plenty of wriggle room for the 1,000.

Mark, it's all well and good you having 2 days off but I won't be running 50+ miles in 2 days before you start pulling away again.

5 wet and windy recovery run miles this morning reducing the deficit to just 49 miles. Feels like winter this morning.

Well done Steve, the 1,000 should be a doddle now.

A very disappointing 5k run this morning, 51 seconds slower than 3 weeks ago. I mustn't complain, as I'm lucky to still be running at my age. 😁

You can't run fast every week hillstrider, there has to be a cut back or slowing at some stage. Well done though.

well done Steve

double effort this morning on the 5ks again, 28:58 with Kathy, then pushed on a bit for a 26:03, happy with that in the wind too :-) esp as I didn't even want to leave the house this morning.

Somehow Im moving up the table..... suppose that consistency more than anything as running 26-28m a week in COVID....

Take care

An extra 3 miles this afternoon to wear in my new shirt and shoes. Blimey don't you notice when you're wearing new shoes, so much bounce.

Steve, I also reached the halfway mark today - 501 to be precise! I'm thankful to be in my 15th month of injury-free running, after being beset by injuries for 2 or 3 years.

HS, I echo your words, as I also feel greatly blessed to be able to continue running at nearly 75 years of age.
