Yes I will be FF. I'm concentrating more now on quality, rather than quantity.

I thought 90% of your running was quality hillstrider.

I suppose it is FF. It's really just reducing the weekly mileage. It is 10,000 forum posts GG, sorry if my post was misleading. |

You were out pretty early Lesley, good five miler; yeah the darker mornings have certainly arrived and my head torch will be out soon. Glad the weather was perfect for your 12 miler FF, that's more like your usual outing. I agree with FF about your running hs! It's consistently quality, you must feel confident about that up coming half m. Glad that you weren't too unwell with covid Evangel and I hope your wife recovers quickly.. Still loads going on for you gg and having to squeeze in your runs around everything else (?). Be good to yourself. 4.4 miles early today and in nice coolish temperature, 12c is just perfect. Have managed to keep a green tick do far this month😂 |

3.5 miles early as it was getting light. Thick mist over fields and chilly on the hands. Hope to go a bit further tomorrow, am feeling fractionally more optimistic this last ten days and fingers crossed for that to continue.

Well done Steve for yesterday's and today's runs. It's good to hear that you are now beginning to feel more optimistic. I am feeling fairly confident about the half marathon, because as you and FF say, I have been doing quality training, but my mileage buildup has been lower than usual. A nice sunny morning, but just the usual Friday Farmers Walk. |

I’m glad you are feeling optimistic Steve, well done on your runs. Enjoy your walk in the sunshine hillstrider. It’s the sort of drizzle/rain that wets you through here. A 2 mile easy run done mainly on the lanes and I’m absolutely soaked. Going to an inaugural Parkrun tomorrow at Muncaster castle. |

Jaks, the Farmers Walk isn't particularly enjoyable, it's walking back from the supermarket carrying 2 heavy bags of shopping in each hand. This is a regular Tuesday and Friday walk. Sorry to hear about your soaking during this mornings run, but well done for doing it. Good luck with tomorrow's inaugural parkrun at Muncaster Castle, it sounds interesting. Our local parkrun has been cancelled due to repair work on a small bridge, so we are debating whether to try an alternative, or just run 5k in the New Forest. |

steve45 I'm very pleased you're optimistic now but please don't overdo it reaching for the 1000 Well done Jaks for your run today. I got soaked too but that sunshine is flipping warm and there was no breeze at all either, sweating all the way on my 12 miles. |
