Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Well done Jaks and congratulations for your spot prize.

Our local parkrun was cancelled, owing to repair work on a small bridge on the course. We decided to alphabet parkrun and ran in the Itchen Valley Country parkrun. It was quite a challenging course, comprising grass, gravel and dried mud. It was quite twisty and undulating. There was a £1.90 parking charge which only lasted for an hour, so it was important not to arrive too early.

I’ve never been to a parkrun where you had to pay for parking 😲. Well done on your parkrun though [USER 13

Nice one Jaks. Well done HS. Glad you ran Steve. Wise decision LL, always listen to your body.

Our local Parkrun is on a NT Scotland estate and we have to pay for parking, unless a member. I had to pay in Inverness (council carpark) when I visited earlier in the year.

10.5 miles this morning along the river and back. Couldn't be bothered with a hillier return so did an out and back. Was cool and quiet. Wee man has been since getting his squirt up the nose, hope it's the same tomorrow.

Well done Lesley for your 10.5 miles run.

I'll try to post a picture of the parkrun, they don't always come out.

Lesley I’m hoping you meant to say wee man ok 🤣 well done on your 10.
Local parkrun for me. Nice to do an inaugural event Jaks and get a price, nice touch.

Love running in summer drizzle. Well done on your parkrun tourism HS. We’re members of the national trust so get free parking at Wimpole last week. First NT one we’ve done.
We often pay but I don’t mind contributing to the upkeep of parks after a free timed 5k.
