I"m hoping the threaders won't mind me having to walk until I know the results of my CT heart angiogram.

I'm sure you will be OK as it's a very valid reason - any idea when you will hear?

Lovely to have you here too Pix! You’ll smash 1000 this year I’m sure.
Steve be kind to yourself. Once the weather picks up & hopefully you get good news from your scan you can pick up the miles in confidence going forward. We’ve got your back.
Slowly keeping going here the cold isn’t leaving yet and I half expect a Christmas at 1000mph means I’m going back to work for a rest tomorrow. Last day off today and I’m relaxing last couple of days have been slower but still busy. I’m keeping my runs short and slow until the head clears. Chest is ok which is the main thing. Off out with geordiemum after lunch unless the rain puts her off

Welcome EP to this friendly thread.
I also suffered with my breathing during Mondays aborted run, as I mentioned previously. It's been suggested that I cover my mouth with a buff. I'm intending to run tomorrow, to see how I get on.
I'm meeting up for lunch today with a friend and her 2 nd youngster. We last ran early Covid, with her child in her buggy.
Take it easy Steve, until you have all your results.
I hope your head cold soon clears up GG, and good that your chest is ok now.

Nice to see people back and newbies to the 1000 thread. Welcome everyone.
You'll bounce back in the spring Steve and if you need to run walk do that, at the end of the day it's still a lot more than most of the country, including me currently. Still on zero but there's almost a whole year to go.

Hiya Pix, you are very welcome to join us.
5.3 miles for me this afternoon, the snow had turned to ice but it wasn't too bad. Temperatures will be above freezing so hopefully it will vanish quickly.
I find it difficult when it's really cold, it really affects my lungs. I didn't find a buff over my face helpful, but some might.
Take it easy Steve, hope you don't have long to wait for your results.
There is plenty time to hit the target, it's only the 3rd of January 😉.

Greetings from NZ shouldn’t moan that’s it’s a tad warm for me although seasonally cooler than normal. Welcome pix I find 1000 gives me time to do other stuff too.
Well done all. Hope you get your results soon Steve.
