I don’t have a treadmill so don’t have the choice. There’s a couple months wait for a new concept rower MMM. I wish I had more time to use mine it’s a great workout.
I got a facial on my run tonight, wind, rain, sleet and hail.

Lesley, you must have got back home with a nice rosy complexion! You did brilliantly to keep going. Hailstones are my least favourite type of weather. Down in this corner of Wales we get used to running in strong winds and rain.

Hail is nasty. It's why I wear a hat! Or have to find shelter. Well done for pressing on through, Lesley.

Aye, my cheeks were pretty red. Took ages to go back to my normal pale complexion. I don't mind rain or snow but hailstones are the worst even more so when they are right in your face.

We got a concept 2 direct from the manufacturers, there was a wait list, but it was cheaper than I'd seen them anywhere else - and about the same price as some people were trying to sell them second hand.

I agree with you all that hailstones are nasty. My worst experience was a few years ago whilst running along the seafront at Southsea. The hailstones were the size of large marbles, and so painful on my head and in my face, that I had to turn back.
This morning was a tough hilly road fartlek session. There was very heavy rain, and during the first mile was soaked from head to foot by an ignorant driver, deliberately driving close to the kerb, spraying me with cold water. I was not impressed 🤬

I hate when people do that HS, it's really not nice. If you were to ever catch the number plate and report it the driver could get fined for doing that.

I know Lesley, but even with a photo of the cars number plate, it would be difficult to prosecute, as the driver would just deny it.
A recovery pace 11k road run this morning.

Sometimes in the past when a driver has done something reckless, I've pretended to hold up a mobile phone and take a photograph. If they're looking in their rear-view mirror at the time, my hope is it will at least shake them up for a moment and put an element of worry into their day.
Of course, you need to know where the nearest running short-cut is in case they decide to backtrack and have it out with you...
