Hope it goes ahead MMM, good luck.

Doesn't seem to be any races that I want to do open for entries. Oh except my local 10k which I don't want to pay Ā£20 for when I can run the route for free anytime I want. Local **** decided to organise a race and not even tell the local club, and as the chair of the club he was not very nice to I will definitely not be doing that one. Sorry been rudely woken by my neighbour so I'm in a bad mood already. Plus we had more snow last night.

Wow! That's a lot of miles Gromit! I am definitely taking a rest day today - although may row later. Husbando got me yesterday by saying 'you can't finish a month so close to 250' so I went out in the vile sleet and snow and ran another 7.8 miles on top of the half marathon I'd done in the morning.

MrsB, that's an awesome mileage for the month too.
Does Husbando have a large life insurance policy on you? ;-)

I'm now looking at training plans.... not many seem to recognise the possibility of doing 2x50km on subsequent days, rather than 1x100km straight through or "only" 1x50km.

Nice to see the comments about the thread/leaderboard/miles and yeah, as Evangel said (and someone else I think) anyone can stay on this thread even if they do alter their targets. Indeed it wouldn't be the same without the great threaders on here as it stands. Maybe I'm a bit too kind of "rule oriented" yet I do hope that there aren't any folks on the target list towards the bottom who are reluctant to join the thread when they see so much success-plus!
My new HRM (with chest strap) arrived today so I hope that keeping an eye on my aging ticker doesn't nudge me into running even more slowly šŸ¤”šŸ¤£

MMM..my wife did the inaugural Race to the Stones a few years back, came third woman. She decided on doing it all in one go, no sleep over (!) and loved it despite it being suddenly the hottest day of that year (27-28c). I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

I'm a bit behind with the posts, but a good idea Steve that some of the high flyers should consider moving to the 1500 miles league table, but still post on here, or both. I will wait a while before I decide, as I'm well below previous years.

Today's run was a Bear Grylls challenge. We had to run into a forest Inclosure and run with a hand drawn sketch from the entry to the exit points, without any navigation aids, just the sketch. It was great fun wading through ankle deep mud and water, and at the same time trying to navigate the best routes.

MMM - I think I am probably worth more dead than alive!

Rest day today - bit of rowing but no running at all.
