Thanks gg, yeah Torey is pleased that I'm doing somewhat better lately but I'm a long long way off anything decent. But what the heck! Great 7 millets MrHSc especially with 5x tempo miles thrown in. Well JackFW you might recall David Bedford's similar diet when he was on top form, with a few pints thrown in to keep hydrated! Good to see your speed sessions continue well hs, well done. Pleased to note that you were leader at the club session Lesley, enjoying it instead of being bugged by someone else. 5.1 miles along part trails this morning; carried the secateurs again and it looks like this will be the last cutting back until next year. Felt ok ish.

You are doing great Steve, some people would have given up but you haven't.
I went up the nearest local hill this morning as I thought why not. I walked more than I would have liked (tired legs from Tuesday maybe) and it was damp but it was good. Views weren't nothing special though and I had to watch for logging trucks but I enjoyed myself. The only bad thing was a dog jumped up and scratched my leg so that was stingy in the shower when I got back.
Saw this one coming.
Cloud covering the hills.
The view over the town from the top.

Sounds like you being club leader Lesley, was enjoyable.
Thanks Steve, the session went well. One of the usual Wednesday runners wasn't there, as she had entered the mile of miles challenge, which she ran in 7.49. It's quite a few years since I've managed that pace!
Well done for this mornings 5.1 miles along part trails. I'm glad that you felt ok ish.
This morning was a solo, easy pace, hilly forest run of just 3.86 miles. Quite a few dog walkers, but I didn't see any other runners.

On a clear day you can see the sea from the top and that's 20 miles away.

Lesley C, cross posts indeed.
Lovely photos and perfect hill for hill reps.
I didn't do any reps on the hills I ran/jogged up.

Great pics, HS and Lesley.
10km yesterday morning, rest day today and long run planned for tomorrow.
There will be no pints tonight, Steve, as I want a strong performance tomorrow, but I’ll go searching for a drink tomorrow night when I head down to the coast for the weekend to catch up with my partner. The preliminary plans are wine and cheeseboard by the fire.

Nice solo forest run and not too far hs. No runners to be seen and having the world to yourself is quite nice . What a climb and then what's view Lesley, running in those relatively wild places is a contrast to most of my city runs, even the trails here only connect busy main roads. Good 10k done and hope you have a good long run today JackFW...wine etc deserved! 4.2 on my hilly road route which didn't go as well as I'd wanted. A 4/10 score was amongst my worst of the year 😂. But it was a wonderful sunny calm morning and let's be thankful for that.
