Don't rush out on my account!

I've had a very pleasant lazy day today.

A longish run for me.. before the arrival of inclement weather! A good outing thanks to my wife pulling me along! Just over 7 miles and noticed as I have over the last ten days or so that the increase in people running has dramatically reduced around here.

A longish run to lunch plus a short jog back home after lunch should see me back in a podium position. But for how long?

Well, I managed 8 miles in the wind and the rain, and have passed the 600 miles. I've noticed that several of you have done a notparkrun 5K today. Well done anyone who went out today, if your weather is anything like ours!

attempted a not parkrun, very different to last weeks attempt... over 3 mins slower and legs really heavy, not sure if its tiredness or MS issues or both...., followed that up with an easy 9k on the bike...

Another not parkrun 5k for me too, in the forest this morning. 26.49, WAVA 69.48%. Very pleased with that. We have a virtual 10k challenge next week and fetch predicts 56.05. I doubt if I will achieve that as I will be running it in the forest, but will do my best. It was very windy and humid this morning, but no rain.

42 years ago today I began this running malarky !I'm sure a couple of the oldies here have done similar years. Nasty wind this morning but not as bad as forecast, glad though that I did my longer run yesterday. Just a 5k today.

Steve, I've probably been running for a similar number of years.

Very humid and windy in the forest this morning, and I ran 9.26 miles, incorporating another 10k recce.

Grrrr apparently I've not run this week or cycled to work and back twice :-(

My Garmin doesn't want to sync again. I've given up and uninstalled and trying to re-install Garmin Connect :-(

Oh well the only consolation I'm hanging on to is that Mark won't know if I've done enough miles to pass him or not ;-)

I did some running 30 years ago and gave up after 2 half marathons and only restarted just over 6 years ago. If I continue running for another 36 years......... I'll be very old :-)
