Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Super news Lesley! I hope you DO stay around on here even if you're not running as much or even at all!
My medium long run of eight (point 1 !!) miles this morning ( good hills included!) went ok but I've not gone for a repeat of a ten or eleven as I did recently.

Thanks everyone, I will be around as much as possible.

Hot run at Parkrun this morning, happy enough of my time even though I walked up a hill last night to watch the sunset.

Good to hear that you are still running Lesley, and that you will keep in touch whenever possible.

A lovely sunny day today, but thunderstorms forecast for tomorrow. I ran 7.3 miles in the forest this morning with a running friend, and in the last mile or so, we tried crossing a rather wide ditch, and ended up knee deep in mud. We weren't wearing trail shoes as we thought all the wet and mud would have dried up, so our road trainers were covered in mud, and squelched as we ran the last bit on roads. I've just noticed that I'm in third place on the leader board; I wonder how long I can stay there.

Thanks hillstrider..I could have carried on but...!! Third place on the leaderboard is really good..not surprised, you put in decent miles with such regularity.
Bit of a keen easterly wind here this morning but still dry.

Prompted by hillstrider- I’ve just looked and found I am 5th. It has been a high mileage month for me this June so I probably won’t stay this high.
