tut..was hoping to have particularly noted for myself when I had completed a life total of 36,000 miles...but noticed this morning that I went past that mark in my long run on Saturday. So my total is now 36,015.

Impressive mileage Steve, does that mean the engine is now run in?

That's a very impressive mileage Steve. I've no idea what my mileage to date is, as I only started keeping a record of my training and racing on fetch since 2007.
Ran a steady 6.5 miles this morning on roads.

I 've not got all my years/mileage/races on Fetch hillstrider but I have my hard notebooks/logs! Computers for such things were unheard of when I began running and wrist stopwatches only became available a couple of years after I started running! As for the engine being run-in FF...!!!...it needs more than an MOT NOW! Only thirty eight miles off the red heart...around nine more weeks I think.

Not sure if any of you have noticed that I haven't been running or been around here that much. But I have a very good reason for that. Some day in October (around the middle) I will become a mummy :-). I am still running a little, hoping to make it to 500 miles before I have to stop.

Steve, I've got most of my races, but not cross country on fetch, as I recorded all my race results in a diary, and have laboriously manually entered them. I had no idea how far my early training runs were, as I didn't even have a wrist stop watch. Eventually, I used to drive and make mental notes of the mileage. This didn't work for off road, of course.
Congratulations Lesley and hope everything goes well!
I ran 9 miles in the forest this morning in trail shoes. The last few were in road shoes, as the ground was so hard. Recent rain has brought back the wet and mud, so it was great, splashing through it.
