what a superb new environment Mrsb..great balance to have trails and roads and forests. Hope you enjoy it all. yeah pedros, notwithstanding the fact that I don't race anymore for a couple of reasons, the financial reason is way up there for me. My wife does some ultras that cost in the region of a £100 or more sometimes but she works! I'm on a measley state pension and race costs, which were pretty reasonable up until the early late 1990's, would now be a luxury when running shoes are not! Still..this peasant can still run! My "streak" is now 52 days.

Hi. How do you get added so you appear on the 1000 miles in 2017 table?

I've done Canalathon once before monseb1, and easy isn't the word I would have chosen for it! I had an injury, struggled from around 17 miles, and was last finisher in 2015, so I feel as though I have unfinished business with the race.
Well done to everyone on their mileage and Steve45 on your continued run streak.

Ebb sorry didn't mean to sound glib, sounds you had a horrid time (didn't realise you did it already as its not listed in your races). Hope you train well for it and enjoy running it this time. I ran it the once in 2014 and really enjoyed the whole experience. Marathons and longer are never easy of course!

Well my 100 a month has probably gone already as I've torn the ligaments in my knee Upside is that once I'm back running I'll be looking at the long term 1000 miles rather than feeling a bit pressured some months
