Right then after a very poor start to the year it's time to get this month started a busy weekend ahead and hopefully the kickstart I need to get back on track!
A small issue with my right knee but this seems to be directly linked with the colder weather and if I remember correctly something I went through last year! have started my stretching program again and will do so again tonite and twice each day over the weekend along with some foam rolling.
I need to start getting the miles in especially if I want a realistic chance to reach my sub 1:50 goal at Wokingham Half next month!
I have put plans in place to take part in the NDW 50 next year so I have an ultimate goal / path for the rest of the year which is something I have realised I need to keep my focus in place. First Ultra so will be interesting on how I look to build up to it. May now look for a non-expensive local Autumn Marathon to keep the mileage up or maybe even a 50k ultra before the end of the year............
I am working on an update for my personal blog which will outline the goals for this year and will post a link in the group thread or my fetch blog for those interested in reading it.....

Welcome to the thread Kelly, watch those hearts carefully!
Wokingham is quite close RedAlex but you've done some excellent base work anyway.
No snow at all down here, nasty wind chill at dawn and some ice here and there but overall pretty much ok for running.
The Spine Race, 268 miler is this weekend....way way way way out of my league!
