Not good Steve, hope she's ok.
Had a nice hilly run with friends this morning in a beautiful part of the country. I went shooting up the table:-)

Glad Torey's OK Steve, but could easily have had different end at this time of year. I suspect Torey's fellow runners will never leave her behind again (but easy to see how they could have been persuaded)

Glad to hear your wife's ok Steve. It's so tempting to tell others to "go on" if you're not feeling up to it so this is probably a good reminder for us all.

Hope you're fit again soon Peter.
I'm glad your wife is ok Steve. I think we've all been guilty of telling others to run on, when we're not feeling great, and of being convinced others are ok and running on. Not long ago during a team relay race a friend (who has arythmia) started walking and told me he was feeling tired after having a cold all week and convinced me to run on. It was only afterwards he said he felt dizzy and had limited vision, and I felt really guilty for leaving him.
I got 20 miles in today, so up to 30 for the week.

Hope Mrs Steve is feeling better (excellent name - very similar to mine and definitely not a Vicky!)
I am always insistent that we stick together on group runs particularly off road.

Thanks for your concerns Fetchies..MrsS (torey) is fine today and intends to run a couple of miles tomorrow, WITH someone. I've been inclined to suggest some time off but we know what us runners are like! Quite Springlike here in South Wales this morning and ticking the miles off quite well toeards the 1,000! Great run there Ebb, way beyond my ability at the moment!

Well the year started well with a double parkrun but then I took a tumble in my next trail run and have a slight ankle sprain not quite the start I wanted as 900 miles in a year is my best so far but we will see. 2 weeks rest and rehab exercises. Hope it snows....

I'm easing myself back in after Marcothon and before marathon training starts again so I won't be breaking even for a wee while yet.
Glad to hear that your wife is ok Steve. I run on my own a lot and it's a worry taking ill whilst solo.
