I really struggled to get myself out of the door this morning, but really glad I did as I had a really good run. Took a different route which was slightly longer and it just felt good! It's a lovely crisp, cold day today (at least in Kent anyway).

It is a bit fresh up in the N.W. and slightly slippy but good for a run.hilly 5.15 for me this morning 10 mile planned for Sunday.

Well done! Wine and Rugby for me tomorrow so a rest day most likely, but then hopefully 15 on sunday.
Amazing how the prospect of a long run helps to curb my drinking though, I like it!

El sombrero
Hurray! First run of the year, only 20 minutes but can't express how good it is to be able to run again after a hideous start to the year. Will have to take my running nice and easy as I've got an irregular heartbeat which was picked up last week, and am on medication. Just under 998 miles to go!

Well done on starting El Sombrero - irregular heartbeat does not sound good!
Just done a long tempo run of 8.3 miles - I was going to ease up but the thought of getting closer to the 1000 miles kept me going
