For My Light
Sadly I am finishing on 946. :(

Did 5.2 miles yesterday and hobbling around today, so more rest before my next run.

I was always ahead of my target until December then the injury has robbed me of the glory.

Thanks Girlie for running the group, see you in 2010

I've been looking forward to this post. That's it done at last .... two months out due to broken leg notwithstanding. One day to spare - how's that for cutting it fine ? Now if I do 4 miles tomorrow I'll BEAT last year's total. Hmmm. Can I be arsed ?

Many thanks to Girlie for stellar record keeping.

Woohoo! I did not join this thread at the beginning of the year, because the previous two years this was my goal but I failed because of injury.

This year I stayed injury free and enjoyed 1016 lovely miles. So happy to have finally achieved this goal - especially with the ice and snow from the last two weeks. I'd say that maybe five of those miles might have been hobbled/walked towards the end of a marathon and half marathon, so I'm looking at certainly 1011 miles in 2009. I don't think I'll ever have the chance to do this again, what with work family commitments, aging knees, etc., so this is really exciting!

Well done everyone! :)

My mileage target box reads: You have set yourself a target of 1000 miles in 2009. You are behind your target by 321.75 miles. To catch up, you need to be aiming for 2271.43 miles per week. :-o

Deep respect for al of you that made it :-)

Methinks the algorithm has gone a bit wappy for training targets!

Well Done to the latest target members:-)

Looks like mine will be a 575 mile 2009, thanks to injury. 1000 in 2010? That's only 83 miles a month and I average 50 now....
