Mr. K.
Just had a quick count up & I`m up to 597.1 miles in 08 - not bad for 1st `season` plus the 1st 3 months wasn`t that great. Will break 600 at the NHTT tomorrow
Just need to up the mileage so 1000 in 09 is do-able

Lochaber marathon training starts on sunday so im hoping to get a good start on my 1000 miles. Just had a quick tempo 5k tonight and then stuffed myself with turkey, ham and beef sarnies washed down with magners, feel a bit sick now.

im running the Lochaber marathon in april, ran it last year ( my first and only marathon ) and found it hard to motivate myself for months afterwards. This year im planning on being even better prepared and I know what to expect afterwards so it shouldnt totally blow my chances of 1000 miles like it did last year lol

Can I join in March when I see how things are going fitting in running cycling & swimming. 1000 might be a bit ambitious but I'll have a feel for whether it's achievable by then!

I've done my 750 this year with some time to spare. I'm definitely up for a crack at 1000 next year!
